Task:
The client opened a new hotel in the heart of Zadar, and needs us to design its logo and visual identity. The logo sign should be based on the letter V, which must be both modern and rustic. All materials should contain a dose of the past, but also a dose of the modern, with elements of luxury.
Solution:
The logo consists of a sign, which according to the client's wishes is based on a stylized letter V. The use of modern typography in combination with stylized leaves, and the use of gold color (foil print) achieves exactly the effect the client sought. The book of standards included various materials that the hotel will need in its everyday business, some of which we made in our graphic studio, such as memoranda, business cards, card covers for rooms, door hangers, toilet signs and toilet hygiene tapes. We are especially proud of the two outdoor steel advertisements, painted according to the agreement with the client and additionally highlighted by lighting fixtures. We also participated in the interior design of the hotel: we made room numbers and a large logo at the reception from forex, designed and installed wallpaper in the hallway, and equipped the rooms with old photographs of Zadar printed on canvas. We covered the glass door leading to the hotel rooms with sandblasted foil, from which the "V" sign from the logo was cut.
